Marie is a French fashion designer, who works full-time making one-of-a-kind clothes. Her style is a combination of retro and fairy tale (just take a look at her goblin-hooded coats). Not only is her work beautiful, but her product photography is well done as well. For a sneak-peek at what’s coming up in her shop, just follow her blog.

In case you haven’t figured it out already, I’m a huge nerd. So imagine my excitement when I found this uber nerdy jewelry on etsy. This scientist-turned-artist makes molecule jewelry. How awesome is that? Every couple months she comes out with new molecules. Right now she’s featuring caffeine, serotonin, and DNA base pairs. Take a look!

In honor of earth day, here are a few of my favorite eco-friendly etsy shops…

  • Uzura – adorable hemp bags and coffee cozies
  • 1.by.liz – clocks made from recycled bike pieces
(If you’re Portland-based, you’d be buying local too!)
  • sarahbirdspins – hand-dyed, hand-spun yarn. yum!
She has a blog too, about spinning, dying, and everything else.

Alrighty, now go plant a tree! Or at least hug one.
